Hälsingland band Daniel & The River was born out of Daniel Jonsson's love for rock, Americana, and a touch of country. Daniel had a bunch of songs and reached out to some musician friends to form a band.

The band from Arbrå and Söderhamn currently consists of Daniel Jonsson, drummer Marcus Losbjer (DiLeva, Wolverine), bassist Stefan Sköld (formerly of Nordman), guitarist Magnus 'Blim' Söderblom, and Daniel Karlsson on keyboards. The upcoming album 'North Meadow Ghosts' is being recorded right now and is expected to be released before the end of the year.
